Ambassadorship: As an active member of HRRT, my club involvement includes: club board membership, community fundraising, cycling advocacy as a NICA certified ride leader, club junior mentoring, SCP MTB trail stewardship, IMBA membership and involvement in a local IMBA trail clinic, local race support voluntarism and HRRT event photography and publicity.
Personal goals: Helping HRRT to
be recognized as a leader in offering recreational and competitive cycling
leagues in a community atmosphere of friendship, encouragement, and respect; Offering
skills coaching, regardless of age, ability or background; being a community
leader in promoting health, well-being and safety through cycling and cycling
related recreation; and supporting fair and fun competitive experiences and activities
for everyone.
2017 race plans: Taking photos at the Trooper Brinkerhoff Memorial
Race series, the Tour of the Battenkill and NY NICA races, and paritipating in the HRRT Spring Opener, Farmer's Daughters Gravel Grinder, Black Fly Challenge, The Ididaride, HRRT 6hr Endurance mountain bike race, Hardcore 24, HRRT Hot
August Nights MTB series; ADK 80k mountain bike/cyclocross race and select NYCROSS and Verge cyclocross race
series events.
